教育学硕士:学校心理学

This course will introduce candidates to the profession of school psychology. 候选人 will have knowledge of the history and foundations of school psychology and knowledge of multiple service models and methods. 候选人 will have core foundational knowledge about best practices and strategies in professional practice as servant leaders in school psychology. 

This course is designed to provide educational foundations, 包括人类的成长和发展, 学习理论, 以及学术成就. 候选人 will also have knowledge of human development across the lifespan as well as factors that impede development.

候选人 will have knowledge of direct interventions that focus on academic interventions for children and 家庭. 候选人 will have knowledge of psychobiological, 文化, dual language learners and social influences on academic skills; human learning, 认知, and developmental processes; and evidence-based curriculum and instructional strategies. 候选人 will demonstrate skills to use assessment and data-collection methods and to implement and evaluate services that support 认知 and academic skills. 

候选人 will have knowledge of varied methods of consultation, 协作, 和沟通适用于个人, 家庭, 组, 学校工作人员, 以及整个学术界的社区机构, 行为和社会/情感领域. 候选人 will learn evidence-based strategies to support family influences on children’s learning, 社会化, 心理健康.
